Water is the Cure-All

Water is the Cure-All and I am jaded smooth, jaded smoothly like a stone washed eastern shore. Water is the Cure-All. Cannot be so different, be so different from you. Cannot be the same, what is real is showing through. Like a worn out piece of cloth, worn smooth on skin like stone, this is a jaded sense of self when left alone. Water is the Cure-All… and public funds are not the be-all to end-all struggle. Water is the cure-all. This water keeps me floating. Despite the fact that Art does sink, yes it does sink, in a world where Artists need to be on their knees begging the powers to make the surface freeze so that at least there will be a rink to stand on, head above water. Above all, water is the cure-all…Keeps me floating on faith. Jade can aid the pure fall through ice infested grace this is jaded art, clean & shiny, green and divinely washed soon upon an eastern shore. I will soon be like a stone, difference owned. Looking for more and not the same, difference claimed. Water is the Cure-All.

Note about the Chinese that begins this song:
“yucheng jindai duli de yinyue 玉成近代独立的音乐”
“Kindly help secure the success of today’s independent music”
“Jade 玉” words are beautiful to me – classy & poetic. Particularly “yucheng 玉成” and others like it that use the word jade to denote positive inner qualities, sound character or integrity within the concept of the word. I’ve also, unconventionally, used a traditional expression (yucheng 玉成) and mixed it with very modern concepts (jindai duli de yinyue 近代独立的音乐). I’ll always sacrifice convention for poetry, even if it makes me misunderstood. Chinese language astounds me. I celebrate its beauty in my own way.Water is the Cure-All and I am jaded smooth, jaded smoothly like a stone washed eastern shore. Water is the Cure-All.
