Whatchado

I am moving in my own stream, aiming for the ocean and the snow-capped peaks, simultaneously. Staying on the road for weeks, enveloped by experiences, often hating this biz. I may be swallowing and gasping but, I’m still collecting the themes. I am travelling in my own stream. All this complacency makes me so irate. The time has come for eardrums to dilate to a music that is not pumped at you propaganda-style, through speakers in every grocery aisle. The underground is sweet and free and we are moving from city to city, looking for those who agree that the underground is the ultimate place to be. If you don’t believe in what you do, how can you expect anyone else to? Y’know, belief is my most valued form of currency – musical currency. I spend it every night in a different city which, helps me deal with all this poverty. Music is my spirituality. The road is where I feel so free – free to spend this belief recklessly as if it’s the last form of currency I will ever see. And, hope that the music carries you as it does me! I find the buzzing hive of this biz somewhat sickening – too much sweetness and too much sting. I’m just gonna move along my stream and sing. And, the bands with the buzz are always so bright but, the ones that keep it real really have no need for lights. This is how I feel, anyway. Never a star, always who we are! We’d rather stick to being free ’cause it’s definitely not about the money! Hahaha! This is just me in a body of water, well, mostly. This is just me, in a constantly moving body of water. No disclaimers! If you don’t believe in what you do, what’s the point?
