Priv – ledge

Recognize Privilege, but refrain from using it to gain an edge, or else you will be standing on some ledge someday, looking down, when you could be gaining ground. That’s what privilege means anyway; it’s a private ledge on the 47th floor, with your name plate on the office door. Yeah, I know you can work your way up. You can start off in the mail room and end off in the male executive suite. Well, isn’t that sweet but it’s oh-so-very rare. There are far too many Johnny- the third’s out there with white shirt, speckled tie, standing on their private ledge on the 47th floor in their office way up high looking down. But today “Johnny the third” is going to Jump. There’s a trampoline and a rescue team and everybody’s cryin’ but “Johnny the third” just wants his feet back on the ground. You’ve got to recognize privilege but refrain from using it to gain an edge. There are a million people in this world today working jobs they hate, going artificially brain dead for crippling pay. No incentive to move forwards, no incentive to get out. In this absurd world, it’d money that it’s all about…A private ledge on the 47th floor where you can stand looking down on what you never looked for.Recognize Privilege, but refrain from using it to gain an edge, or else you will be standing on some ledge someday, looking down, when you could be gaining ground.
